Subject: 1979 spitfire
Hi my name is robin mcmorran and I have a late 79 spit with rubber bumpers.
Late last year I bought your performance shocks and I am most impressed. I have
done up the motor it has sticky tires. The problem is its brakes are stock and
you know how bad they are. I have 13 by5 inch minilight replicas on the car
and I was wondering if there is a performance calliper and rotor combo you could
make for me to fit in those wheels. I live in Canada so I can not bring you
the car. The last thing is I have twin dcoe 40 webers on the car and a header
but the header is really sad I think it is a pacesetter. The intake manifold
I have is a cannon I was thinking you might sell me one of your performance
headers and I could make it fit. I work at a machine shop so I have all the
facilities to make it work if you sell it to me. Thanks for your time and I
am waiting for a response.

Subject: Your advice
I have a seventy nine spit with a mk1 mk2 gt six engine. I would really like to make this car into a great car. I know this is going to take awhile but i need some type of starting point and i would like your advice. The carbs apparently need to be rebuilt and i dont know the condition of the interior of the engine except that it has good compression. Exhaust header could be redone as well as suspencion. Brakes im gonna have to wait because of the size problem. I would greatly appreciate your input because i have read the feed back and you seem to be a very knowledgable person when making these cars all they can be.
Thanks
John Benson
